Clay pigeon shooting is a great way to challenge yourself or enjoy a group activity. If you’re keen to brush up on your clay skills or take the first step to trying a new sport – talk to us about our clay pigeon shooting lessons. Good lessons are not just informing you where you miss, we are looking to improve your performance small details can make a significant difference, being taught to mount the gun effectively knowing how to read the target starting the gun in correct place for controlled acquisition making the shot smoother more controlled.

Set in the beautiful Dorset countryside, we’ll help you make the most of your session with a highly experienced, patient and fun instructor. The location is ideal for a clay pigeon shooting activity day or weekend break. You’ll find plenty of local B&Bs, hotels or campsites in easy distance. Clay shooting is a challenging sport, we give you the chance to try it without the outlay on your own equipment safely guided by a very experienced instructor.

Ideal for individuals and groups

We offer one-to-one private sessions, and also welcome groups. If you’re looking for an exciting activity to celebrate a special occasion, or for something different for a stag or hen party, then come to us. Would like to give a big thank you to Norman at AA Shooting after a brilliant morning doing a shooting experience 10/8/19. From start to finish it was all very professional without being boring plus brilliant advise throughout. 
Norman clearly knows his stuff as he quickly did some easy tests to find out what eye was more dominant and then he knew how the gun would best suit us on which side, this clearly worked as I was shooting Clay's in no time, being a beginner I found this very impressive. 
All the equipment is supplied and in like new condition, setup was well thought out so you could have Clay's from all directions and different speeds.
All in all I am very happy with my experience and I will be going again.

We went as a birthday present for my girlfriend’s Dad. Norman was our instructor. He was a lovely and friendly guy who was massively patient with us all! Some of the group had never shot before and required a bit more coaching, of which he was very good at!
Norman had a keen attention to safety without distracting from the fun, which I imagine can be quite challenging when you’re teaching a wide range of ages and skill levels!
We had a blast of a time and will definitely be coming back.

This was an amazing experience, one that I have never done before but have always wanted to do but have always been so scared. However, definitely nothing scary about it, I went whilst on holiday and being my first time the instructor was so helpful telling me what to do, knowing exactly what he was talking about.
