Game shooting Lessons for seasoned game shots and those new to the sport. We offer Lessons or practice to get you ready for a new season of game shooting. Our tower simulates driven game, and has some fast and challenging targets to help you get your eye back in. It’s the perfect opportunity to refresh and refine your technique. We can set clays to simulate driven pheasant and partridge, walked up or crossing. And our ground is private – so there’s no waiting around. We can offer individual sessions or for a group. Half days are also available.

New to a Game shooting?

If you’re new to shooting or have been invited to take part on a shoot, we can help you prepare. We’ll walk you through safe gun handling, shooting skills and shoot etiquette. You’ll learn a reliable method of shooting, enabling you to shoot with confidence.  As experienced instructor Norman Fuller says, “We all have great hand eye coordination, we just need the confidence to use it”.

On the peg service for game shoots

Whether you’re seasoned or new to the sport, sometimes it can help to have a friendly hand helping on the peg. We offer on the peg loading or guidance. See our pricing for the daily rate.

Practice makes perfect!

Well, perhaps not quite perfect – but regular practice does embed good techniques. Even small adjustments to stance, gun mount or focus can make a significant difference to the hit rate – and to an enjoyable Day. We often get busy in the run up to the game shooting season with those wishing to refresh their skills, so we recommend a little practice on a regular basis.
